KPWCA Scholarships
$1000 Scholarship Awards
The Kings Park West Civic Association will award up to three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors that live in Kings Park West. Applicant’s parents or guardians must be current members of the KPWCA, as of the date of the application.
The Civic Association is very interested in rewarding students who have been active in our community, volunteering their time and energy in civic activities that help others, improving our neighborhood or preserving our environment. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of extracurricular activities and civic achievement (40%), scholastic achievement (20%), a written essay (20%) and a personal interview (20%).
Applications are available in the Herald and online at www.kwpca.org. Completed applications, with your written essay and official embossed, unopened school transcripts are being accepted now and should be sent to:
